Working at Heights & Harness Awareness Training Overview
At GTSS, our Working at Heights and Harness Inspection course is designed for employees who work at heights. It aims to provide an awareness of the hazards and risks associated with working at heights, along with the relevant legislation and regulations.

Course Objectives
Upon completion of this course, learners will be able to:
- Understand the Working at Height Legislation and Regulations.
- Identify the main hazards and risks associated with working at height.
- Select the correct Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
- Recognise the importance of pre-use inspection for harnesses and lanyards.

Course Programme
- Safety, Health & Welfare at Work Act 2005.
- Work at Height Regulations.
- Legal duties of employers and employees under current Health & Safety Legislation.
- Pre-use inspection of safety harnesses and lanyards.
- GA Forms.
- Fall Protection Equipment.

Training Methods
- Classroom-based presentations using PowerPoint.
- Practical sessions where learners can inspect their own harnesses and lanyards.

Who Should Attend?
Employees who work at height or those responsible for supervising such activities.

Additional Information
- Maximum of 12 learners per session.
- Duration: 3 to 4 hours.
- A Certificate of Attendance will be issued to all learners who successfully complete the course.
